Another red flag is if the person starts to become controlling. If they message you 24/7 asking you where you are or who you are with, this could be a risky situation.

if someone is making you feel uncomfortable online then you should stop talking to them and they might give up but, if they keep talking to you, you should block that person and report them. If it starts become constant harassment and you don't feel safe anymore then you should report them to the police.

- Loneliness: people may avoid the person involved in sexting
- Fear of going to social events

Some legal consequences of sexting are getting charged with felony charges if you are sending images of children under the age of 16 or if someone under the age of 16 is sending it. If someone sends you a naked or sexually explicit photo of a person under the age of 16, and you forward it to someone you would be distributing child pornography.
